Privacy Policy

The short version

SPCX Daily is an informational site about the stock SPCX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp (SpaceX)). You can read the entire site without giving us any personal information. The only personal data we collect is an email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to the daily report. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

Email address (only if you subscribe). When you submit the signup form, we collect the email address you enter so we can send you the daily SPCX report. Submissions are processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, via Netlify Forms.

Basic technical logs. Like most websites, our host automatically records standard request information (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamp) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use this to build profiles of individuals.

A theme preference. If you switch between dark and light mode, we store that choice in your browser's local storage (key spcx-theme). It never leaves your device and is not a tracking cookie.

How we use it

We use your email address solely to send the daily SPCX report and occasional service messages about it. We use technical logs only to operate and secure the site. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell or rent it.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site: Netlify (hosting and form submissions). Market data and news shown on the site come from Alpaca Markets and Polygon.io; those are data sources about the stock and do not receive your personal information. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from the email at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To make a request, email hello@spcx-trader.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Data retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

Children

SPCX Daily is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We will revise the "Effective" date above when we do. Material changes will be noted on this page.
